Your Reputation

Your reputation is a powerful thing.  How are you known?  What do people assume about you?  What do people think about you?

Conduct a Reputation Audit to find out.

Part 1:

We recommend sending the following email to a minimum of 3-5 people to get a fresh look at  how you are known:

Hi {Name},

I am conducting a reputation audit to better understand how I am known and the impact I am having in the world.  I would greatly appreciate your honest and direct answers to the following questions:

1.  What can you count on me for?

2.  What can you not count on me for?

3.  What am I crazy good at?

4.  Do you have any advice for me?

I appreciate your time and your thoughtful responses.

Thank you,

Part 2:

Here’s the hard part… read the feedback with an open mind.  Try not to get defensive about it.  Sometimes the feedback a person sends you says more about them than it does about you.  Try it all on.  See what’s true or what the 2% truth might be.  Look for what you are responsible for.  If you get triggered or hooked by the feedback, get some coaching.  Feel free to email or call one of us for support.
